Michiel van de Poel – Owner & Technical Director
Michiel began his career in the broadcast business almost 20 years ago when he joined the Dutch broadcast organization (NOS) as a sound engineer. Michiel then toured with various celebrities and was an engineer on the Madonna Blond Ambition tour. He has produced countless international corporate shows as a specialized engineer and technical lead.
Michiel has a project managed successful corporate events for Hewlett Packard, Phillips, Microsoft, Etisalat, Facebook, Panasonic, Sony and many more. He is a great team motivator and gets the best out of his crew and equipment. Michiel has excellent communication skills, efficient processes, and thrives in achieving a perfect delivery time and time again.
Shannon Anderson – Owner & Project Director
Shannon started her career in the event business while working at a country club in Kalamazoo, MI. Once bitten by the event bug she worked her way through the social and corporate event industry in the greater Seattle area, sharpening her skills working with technical corporations and national sporting events.
After 10 years working in boutique registration firms, it was clear that the industry was lacking affordable technical innovation, practical data application and highly experienced customer service. With this in mind, she gathered the best of the best in the industry to create a versatile and truly custom built registration experience, combining ground breaking technical event applications, maximizing data utilization and trusted professional customer support forming BlinQ Automation.
With 18+ years in the business event industry Shannon has managed a wide range of corporate and technical conferences, marketing programs, trade shows and high profile sporting events for a variety of industries and clients.
